རྒྱལ་བའི་ཡབ་མཆོག་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ནུས་པའི་དཔལ།The glorious father of the Victorious Ones, endowed with wisdom, love, and enlightened power,
གངས་ཅན་བསྟན་པའི་མཛེས་རྒྱན་མི་ཕམ་པ།Mipham Rinpoche, the sublime ornament of the Buddha Dharma in the Snow Land,
རྟག་འཛིན་འདུལ་ཕྱིར་ཞི་བར་གཤེགས་གྱུར་ཀྱང་།Though you have passed into peace to tame those who cling to the view of permanence,
འགྲོ་ཁམས་གནས་པ་དེ་སྲིད་ཐུགས་རྗེས་སྐྱོང་།May you continue to care for all beings with compassion for as long as the realms of existence remain.
Penned these words of heartfelt devotion while undertaking a special journey to pay homage to the sacred remains of His Eminence Mipham Rinpoche in Delhi.

སྨན་ལྗོངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་ས་འབྲུག་གི་ཡུལ།Drukyul the land filled with herbs and a place of flourishing Dharma.
འཛམ་གླིང་ཞི་དང་བདེ་བའི་སྨོན་ལམ་ལས།With the aspiration of world peace and harmony,
ནད་མུག་དུས་ཀྱི་རྒུད་པ་རབ་བཅིལ་ནས།May the sickness, poverty, and all degenerations of this age be dispelled. ཕུན་ཚོགས་རྫོགས་ལྡན་དཔལ་གྱིས་འཚོ་བར་སྨོན།And may everyone enjoy abundance of prosperity, like the golden age of Satyuga.

མུན་པའི་སྐྱེས་བུས་དྲན་ཤེས་མར་མེ་ཡིས།A being lost in darkness, yet holding the lamp of mindfulness and awareness,
དྲུང་ནས་འབྱིན་བྱེད་མ་རིག་ཚང་ཚིང་དག།May the thick forest of ignorance be dispelled from its presence.
རྣམ་དཔྱོད་ཡང་དང་བླ་མའི་གདམ་ངག་གིས།Through discerning wisdom and the Guru’s profound instructions,
འཁོར་བར་ཡུན་རིང་ཨེ་འཁྱམ་སྐལ་ཅན་བདགMight this fortunate one not wander long in the cycle of samsara.

འཇིག་རྟེན་བསོད་ནམས་མཐུ་ཡིས་དལ་རྟེན་ཐོབ། Through the power of worldly merit, I have obtained leisure and precious opportunity.
མཚུངས་པ་མེད་པའི་བླ་མའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱིས།By the blessings of the incomparable Guru,
གཤིས་རྒྱུད་གྱོང་རུལ་འདི་ལ་བདུད་རྩིས་བརླན།Even this hardened, withered nature is softened by nectar.
ཅུང་ཟད་ཐོབ་པའི་བསྐལ་བཟང་བདག་མིན་སུ།Who else but me has gained such good fortune?

གཏིང་དཔག་དཀའ་བ་མཁའ་དབྱིངས་ལྟ་བུའི་ངང་།Difficult to fathom like the vast expanse of space,
སྣ་ཚོགས་བཀྲ་བའི་ཀུན་རྟོག་དབང་པོའི་གཞུ།The *Indradhanush of colorful and myriad concepts,
མེད་ཀྱང་ཡོད་པར་སྣང་བའི་བདེན་འཛིན་འདིས།This clinging to reality, appearing though unreal,
ཉོན་མོང་ཀུན་གྱི་འབྱུང་གནས་ཡིན་པས་གཟབ།Beware, for it is the source of all afflictions.

རྟེན ཅིང་འབྲེལ་འབྱུང་དུས་ཀྱི་ཡོ་ལང་ལས།From the waves of dependent arising,
འཕོ་དང་བལྟམས་པ་འགྲོ་དང་འོང་བའི་རྒྱུན།Transmigration and birth, the stream of coming and going,
ཇི་སྲིད་སྲིད་པར་གནས་པ་དེ་སྲིད་མྱོང་།So long as these persist and are experienced.
ནམ་ཞིག་འཁོར་བའི་འཆིང་ཐག་ལས་གྲོལ་ན།There comes a day when bonds of samsara are released.
ལྷན་སྐྱེས་བདེ་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་ངང་ལས་གྲོལ།And one is free within the state of great innate bliss.

ཡུད་ཙམ་ཞིག་གིས་བདེ་སྡུག་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་།Many happiness and sufferings in an instance,
འཁོར་བ་མྱང་འདས་གཉིས་ཀྱི་ས་མཚམས་བྱེད།Also samsara and nirvana occurring, གཅེས་ཤིང་བརྩེ་བའི་མཛའ་གྲོགས་འདུ་འབྲལ་སོགས།Dear friends gathering and parting, ཐམས་ཅད་སྐད་གཅིག་གཅིག་གིས་འགྱུར་བའི་གཤིས།All are the nature of change in an instance.
མ་ལ་གྷ་གནམ་ཐང་ནས་བྲིས་པ་དགེ།Penning these verses while waiting for flight at Malaga airport.

གསེར་གྱི་ལྷུན་པོ་ལྟ་བུ་མཛེས་ཤིང་བརྫིད།Lord Buddha, spectacular and majestic like a golden Sumeru mountain,
ཡན་ལག་དྲུག་བཅུའི་ཆོས་ཚུལ་གངྒའི་ཀླུང་།Dharma, like the flow of Ganges with sixty branches of qualities,
ཟག་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཆེན་པོས་དོན་གཉིས་བསྒྲུབས།Two purposes accomplished with great stainless wisdom,
ཐུབ་མཆོག་ལྷ་ཡི་ལྷ་ལ་སྤྱི་བོས་བཏུད།I with devotion, bow my head to the supreme Buddha, the lord of gods also.
ཅེས་པའང་ས་ཟླའི་དུས་ཚེས་དགེ་བར་བལ་ཡུལ་གནམ་གྲུའི་ཐང་ནས་གུས་ཤངས་མིང་པས་སངས་རྒྱས་རྗེས་སུ་དྲན་བཞིན་བྲིས་པའོ།Humbly written by Shangpa on the auspicious time of the Saga Dawa, remembering the Buddha and his qualities.

སྣང་བའི་ཡུལ་དུ་འཆར་བའི་མཛེས་སྡུག་དང་། Beauty appearing as objects of perception,
ལེགས་པར་དཔྱད་ཚེ་སྣང་བཞིན་མ་གྲུབ་པའི།When carefully examined, are lacking existence,
རང་བཞིན་སྟོང་པར་རྟོག་པའི་ཤེས་རབ་འདི།The wisdom that realizes the emptiness nature,
རྟོགས་ནས་བདག་འཛིན་རྩ་བ་ཆོད་པར་ཤོགMay it cut the root of self grasping at its source.

སྲིད་པའི་གདུང་བ་སེལ་བའི་སྨན་མཆོག་ཏུ།Supreme medicine that dispels the suffering of existence,
རྡོ་རྗེའི་ངོ་བོར་ཞབས་པད་བརྟན་པར་སྨོན།May your vajra feet remain steadfast and firm!

དགེ་བའི་རླུང་གིས་བདས་པའི་ཞིང་ས་རུ། In a field swept by the winds of virtue,
རྨད་བྱུང་ནོར་བུའི་མཛོད་ལ་དབང་འབྱོར་བའི། Possessing the treasury of wondrous jewels,
དལ་རྟེན་དོན་ཡོད་བྱ་བའི་ཚོགས་གཉིས་ནོར། May the wealth of the two accumulations - recieve with leisured human body, ལག་ཏུ་སོན་ནས་གཏན་བདེའི་རྒྱལ་ས་ཟིན། Come into hand and proceed to the state of ultimate happiness.

དལ་འབྱོར་རིན་ཆེན་ཐོབ་པའི་བསྐལ་བཟང་འདི།The fortunate moment of gaining a precious human body.
དོན་མེད་རྣམ་གཡེང་ངང་དུ་མ་ལུས་པར།Instead of wasting it meaninglessly with distractions,
གཏན་བདེའི་སླད་དུ་ཐར་པའི་ལམ་བཟང་པོར།For the sake of permanent happiness, on the excellent path of liberation,
ཅིས་ཀྱང་འཇུག་པའི་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་བསྐྱེད་པར་རིགས།It is proper to generate diligence and be engaged in it.
ཅེས་པའང་རང་ལ་གསོས་འདེབས་ཀྱི་སླད་ཕྲན་སིངྒ་པུར་གནམ་གྲུའི་ཐང་དུ་ངལ་གསོའི་སྐབས་སུ་བྲིས་པའོ།This was written while waiting at Singapore Changi airport on the way Kathmandu. It is to remind myself to be more diligent towards practice.
