Bio
Age 2: Recognised as an incarnation of the Great Yogi Shangpa Rinpoche, a disciple of the 15th Karmapa.
Age 9: Ordained by the 16th Karmapa.
Age 9 to 15: Studied ritual arts and memorised scriptures under the late Dupseng Rinpoche and other learned teachers.
Age 16: Joined the Tibetan Higher Institute of Buddhist Studies in Varanasi and mastered Buddhist philosophy, literature, poetry, history of Buddhism and Sanskrit, etc. Teachers: the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, the 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche, Urgyen Tulku Rinpoche, Tenga Rinpoche, Khunu Rinpoche and Khenpo Rinchen.
Age 19: Under HH 16th Karmapa's instruction, assumed the role of abbot of Jangchub Choeling Monastery in Pokhara, Nepal.
Age 22: At the 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche's request, became the spiritual teacher in Singapore.
Today: Abbot of Singapore Karma Kagyud Buddhist Centre and head of several Buddhists organizations internationally.
